Sustainable Development Goals
Emotional Driving, in line with Gonvarri Industries’ values and strategies, is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations Global Compact.
As defined on the United Nations’ official website, the SDGs are considered a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, develop societies or ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity, amongst others.
The 17 SDGs involve a collaborating and pragmatic spirit to select the best options with a view to improve life quality for future generations in a sustainable way. They provide guidance and clear goals for their adoption by all countries worldwide.
Works actively to achieve the following goals
Halve the number of global deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents, by 2020.
Provide access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, improving road safety, notably by expanding public transport, with special attention to the needs of those in vulnerable situations, women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons, by 2030.
A successful sustainable development agenda requires partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society. These inclusive partnerships built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the planet at the centre, are needed at the global, regional, national and local level.
Emotional Driving collaborates actively with:
What Really Matters
WRM Foundation promotes and disseminates universal human and ethical values. In 2014, Gonvarri strengthed its commitment to WRM becoming “Collaborating Company” meaning our general support to all their projects.
Since 2014, our corporate group contributes to this non-profit organization whose goal is to prevent accidents and, subsequently, its serious consequences, support specially given by Emotional Driving.
Fundación Real Madrid
Our journeys and paths joined in 2018, initiating a collaboration with a clear goal: educate people with functional diversity on road safety. In 2018, 2019 and 2020 we have been developing the “Road education: a great value” project by playing adapted football and basketball in social-sports environments.
Our collaboration started in 2016, and since then we have joined forces to contribute to building a stronger society. In 2018 we collaborated as Trustee Company and took part in projects aimed at improving communication and performance measurement of projects in the field of sustainability.
Since 2017 we have been collaborating with Movistar as speakers at What Really Matters Congresses, defending the benefits of technology but motivating thousands of youngsters all over Spain to be responsible and leave the mobile phone aside while driving. Furthermore, Movistar and Emotional Driving have developed two studies in Spain and a third one in Argentina to learn about the driving habits of these societies.
Asociación Española de la Carretera
Recently, we have started an alliance with AEC to keep working in favour of road safety.
